The St. Thomas More Youth Choir is a great way for students in grades 3-8 to get more involved with their Catholic faith, learn the basics of singing, make friends, and have fun!
For grades 3-8
Practices: Tuesdays during the school year, 6 pm to 7 pm in the church building’s Lancaster Room.
Masses: Roughly once a month during the school year; dates and times vary but include Christmas Eve and Easter.
Music: We’ll cover everything from ancient Gregorian chant and traditional hymnody to gospel music and modern contemporary music! We want the kids to experience the diversity of the Church’s musical life, and we hope they find things they like! •
Director: Tim Horneman joined STM parish in 2021 as the director of music and liturgy. He is a Church musician with 25 years of experience as an organist, pianist, and vocalist and assists STM school with their weekly Mass. Before coming to STM, he also taught music to grades PreK-8 for three years.
